| 1. 2010 2011 FALL WINTER SHORT COURSE RENEWAL - 08/04/2010 | 2010-2011 SCST Fall / Winter Short Course Renewal will begin Thursday, August 5th and last until Monday, August 30th. Swimmers eligible for Renewal will only be for those St. Charles Swimmers who are currently registered for the 2010 Spring / Summer Long Course Season and in good standing with the St. Charles Swim Team and Norris Rec. St. Charles Families that miss the Renewal Dates will have to attend new swimmer tryouts (August 31st thru September 2nd) and will be accepted to the Team on a first come first serve basis.
Renewal will be a Two Step Process
Step 1 Session Fees and Norris Membership will be paid at the front desk of the Norris Rec. Center. The Norris Rec. Center will be open 9:00am to 1:00pm Thursday, August 5th and Friday, August 6th. The Norris Rec. Center will be closed Saturday, August 7th and Sunday, August 8th. Normal business hours will begin Monday, August 10th.
Step 2 – Go to the SCST website (www.stcswim.com) and use the Registration Link. Once you are in the SCST Registration site you will need to complete the process and pay the Swimmer fees, ISI Fee, Electronic Fee and any unpaid fees. Once, this has been completed you will receive an email confirmation and your swimmer is now ready to begin practice.

This season the St. Charles Swim Team will not be signing up for our normal training groups. Because of the limitations to training facilities SCST will be having swimmers sign up for training groups based on age. SCST philosophies and beliefs are not changing; the Coaching Staff will still provide the high quality of teaching that has made St. Charles Swimming one of the premier programs. Important Information about the Fall Practice Schedule, when construction is finished or additional pool space becomes available to the St. Charles Swim Team we will alter our practice schedule to be more accommodating to the SCST General Membership. |
| | 2. 2010 2011 FALL WINTER SHORT COURSE SEASON NEW SWIMMER TRYOUTS - 08/04/2010 - 2010_Fall_Winter_Short_Course_New_Swimmer_Registration_Packet_version_1.pdf | New Swimmer Tryouts will begin on Tuesday, August 31st and go thru to Thursday, September 2nd, swimmers trying out only need to attend one of the three days.
Tryouts will be held 7:00-8:00pm at St. Charles North High School.
Tryouts are free!
Swimmers must be able to swim at least one length of Freestyle and one length of Backstroke without stopping to participate on the Pre Competitive & Junior Swim Team, SCST\\\'s non competitive programs.
To participate with the competitive programs of the St. Charles Swim Team; swimmers must have a developed general knowledge of all 4 strokes, swim a 25 of all four strokes and be able to dive into deep water.
The 2010-2011 Fall Practice schedule is included in the New Swimmer Registration Packet. |
